For the 328i Sedan, the automatic is 6.9 seconds and the manual is 6.3 seconds.

I just came back from a roadtrip to Los Angeles, and on the freeway i found a Merc CLS ($72,400 – $97,950) and i pulled up sidebyside, looked almost identical except his cost twice as much as a CC.

Whatever you choose AmericanCarsSuck1 hope you make a good choice and not be regretful. Happy Motoring!

    P.S
Since your name is AmericanCarsSuck i’m not even going to suggest lincoln, mercury, buick, or Cadillac…

I’d seriously consider buying either a VW CC/Passat, BMW 3 Series, or Volvo S40 because they have the best free scheduled maintenance warranty… I drive a 2009 VW CC 2.0T and it’s the best bang for your buck. When i’m going 70mph on the highway, you hardly feel it and step on the accelerator, everyone around you seems as though they are standing still..

    @AmericanCarsSuck1
If you still have feelings for the VW brand then go for a passat or CC ($28k-$40k). Both much larger than the BMW 328/335 & Merc C-class for around the same price…

Or oust for the Audi A3/A4 ($27k-$34)..
But take note, If you buy an Audi you’re just buying for the name and outside look because underneath it is just a Volkswagen since Audi is VW’s luxury division…

    Volvo S40 ($29k-$34k)

    Japanese:
    Lexus IS250 ($32k-$38k)
    Acura TSX ($29k-38k)
    Infiniti G series ($33k-$39k)

Stupid yank, are they all completely incapable of the correct pronunciation of english?
Let me give you a lesson
    Proper English: coop-ay
America’s lazy idea of english: coop
I knew they were lazy when it came to exercise but i didn’t know it was the case when it came to language.

  19. dpain0 Says:

i’m going to buy this car used when i grow older!
it will never look old to me!

  20. vissi87 Says:

So as you can see, the non-luxury cars aren’t taxed as heavily.

  21. vissi87 Says:

The Subaru Legacy (called the Liberty here) starts at 34k. Honda Fit (Honda Jazz here) seems to be priced right at 16k while the 3 series sedan starts at 60k and 70k for the coupe.

  22. gxxr1130 Says:

Are economy or non-luxury cars as over-priced? I wonder if they tax everything or just those that are paying “want it tax.” A new subaru legacy runs around 20k in Florida, honda fit 15k, and bmw 3 series around 35k.

  23. vissi87 Says:

Yea I think you are 100% right about that. Our government are money hungry scammers. They tax us like crazy. I think that would explain the high prices, and they’re getting away with it too. BMW, Mercedes and Audis are everywhere here. Funny how all the Australian made cars are dirt cheap.

  24. gxxr1130 Says:

It was at .65 less than a year ago, I just haven’t been keeping up with it. They are probably keeping the prices the way they were because they know people are willing to pay that much for them, so they are making nearly 2x the money with no change on their part. I know other countries tax the hell out of cars imported and people still pay exorbitant prices. I what sacrifices these people make to afford such wonder unnecessary items. Taxes are such a scam.

  25. vissi87 Says:

The Australian dollar is worth 92.2 US cents, so it isn’t a big difference. $35,000 USD is about $38,000 AUD so that still doesn’t explain the huge price difference. And yes, our smaller economy and non-luxury vehicles are priced from about $15,000 – $30,000 while the 3 series 323i coupe is over $70,000 which is a lower model than the one in the video. The 328i is well over $90,000. You would be amazed at how many people here buy them though.
